We have to bare in mind that , in order to deal with urban issues, we have to take into consideration the human diversity. Different people like and choose to live in different ways. So, how can we work at a solution for a multidisciplinary problem? If you ask me I would suggest a previous public research in order to verify and identify what the most meaningful issues to be dealt with are . After that , try to organize them by region and then combine those aspects with the people’s profile, transforming that information into a lifestyle map. This map could help the government to put similar profiles together improving organization and the life quality available for that specific society. Although we have to respect people´s feelings and necessities I understand that this kind of urban planning would improve any metropolis lifestyle and life quality for it’s citizens. More than that I strongly believe that a urban plan like this could optimize people’s wasted time in traffic,...

Urban Issues

In order to answer this question, we should have in our mind that there are a lot of problems to solve in a city. But we have to establish, which points are more important to fix first. Problems that aware human dignity must be a priority. However,  the other problems can’t be forgotten. One of the priorities that must be analyzed carefully is the public sanitation, something that was completely abandoned by the government, especially in the poorest parts of the big cities. Public sanitation is very important because places that don’t have access to it, threatens public health. Besides places like that expose people to different diseases and this is unacceptable, it’s a disrespect in terms of human rights and Constitutional law. So, mayors must keep the attention to guarantee public sanitation to 100% of the population from the city that they manage. Another priority in a big city should be the public transportation. A bad service contribute to the traffic jam and harm th...
In order to answer this question,  we have to examine if people really want to solve urban issues. Most part of urban issues are made by humans. An example is the traffic that is caused by the excess of cars. However , it isn’t aren’t a big problem, compared to pollution of air , water, and the deforestation. What should we do to reduce these problems? In my point of view, the first action to be taken is decrease the consumption of fossil fuels, decrease the consumption of cellulose derivates . Some big companies,  does recycling projects, like Nespresso with the coffee capsules. A common thing nowadays is build sustainable houses with recycled objects.
Question : Should we create more socially mixed residential areas, where rich people live next to poorer people, instead of in separate communities? In order to answer this question, firstly , we can’t forget that we won’t resolve social problems just approaching different people, but it can be a step or a first step to decrease some prejudice. Secondly , we also have to examine whether benefits people really consider to support this change. Certainly not everybody will be comfortable, so the pros have to be much more tangible and admittedly clear before the creation of those type of areas. In my view, new mixed residential areas would facilitate the routine of poorer people considering that part of them works for the rich people as housekeepers, security guards, janitors, etc, and it will facilitate locomotion and reduce the car traffic and the public trasportation , however , cultural issues/shocks certainly will happens. My suggestion to deal with this question is ...

Change the world's future

In order to answer this question, we must first examine whether people really want to resolve urban issues. The majority of urban issues are made by the humans. One of them is the traffic noise. However , these are small compared to pollution. So, let us assume that all urban issues are dangerous to the future of the world. What should we do to reduce or eliminate these problems? In my view, the first thing we need to do is awareness the population about pollution. Indeed the only way is to show how would be the world in the future if we continue like this? Some stores, like Nespresso, do recycling. After we use the capsules to make coffee we save it and take to the store which has a special recycling program for it. The most common, nowadays is to have recycling program in the buildings and houses that we live in. Although this already happens, most people do not adhere because they not know where does this go and what is done after. The media, like tv and internet, can help with...
To answer this question, we must first know whether people want to live in a mixed neighbour. The answer will vary from person to person, making this subject very fragile. However, there might be some who believe that having mixed residential areas would result in a less discriminating society. So, let us assume that we have equal number of opinions for and against. What should we do to settle this once and for all ?  In my view, a mixed neighbourhood can exist perfectly well on our society. As long as the educational system becomes better than today, we should be able to have a pacific mixed city , where rich and poor people would live together. I know it may look like a crazy idea, but it is not. According to scientist, living in a “Utopia” may be possible in a near future.    Admittedly , there are examples of mixed neighbourhood which works way better than expected. But the same can be said for areas where wealthy and underpriviledged people are separ...
